I worked with the senior management team to help the business understand it’s core purpose and cascade that through the team. We aligned the organisation entirely, so that every person in every team throughout the business knew the goal of the business, their team’s goal and their individual goal. As a result, everyone in the business was clearly contributing to the overall goal. Once we had established this, we aligned the performance management, incentive and review processes so that they reinforced the goals we’d established.
The process involved a comprehensive 12 month exercise, from the initial planning stages to the completion of the first full evaluation.
National Training Provider
We consistently boosted sales and helped the team hit target month on month.
I worked with the Managing Director, Sales Director and the sales team to help the team consistently hit target. Historically, the sales figures had been erratic, with significant peaks and troughs. Over the course of Q1, we worked to increase the effectiveness of the sales team, hone the focus of the sales executives, provide consistent confidence and enhance motivation. This process included work with the individual sales execs, but also structual changes within the business to remove barries that were inhibiting performance. We also reviewed the performance management and incentive programmes to make them more powerful and motivating to the team.
